Best Time to Visit

  • November to February: The monsoon season, many resorts and activities are closed during this period.
The closest airport to Redang Island is Sultan Mahmud Airport in Kuala Terengganu. From Kuala Terengganu, you can take a boat to the island. The journey takes about 1-2 hours. Travel by bus or car to Merang or Shahbandar Jetty. From either jetty, take a ferry to Redang Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 1.5 hours.
